the jug with bulbous spherical body and hand-beaten finish, the hinged lid with double pomegranate thumbpiece, presentation engraved 'This Jug Together with Two Beakers are a Farewell Gift to the Revd. Arthur Rawson from Former and Present Members of his Congregation. 26 July 1882'. The beakers with decorative engraved bands and hand-beaten finish, the oval cartouche with castle and other engraved detail. The jug London 1881 by George Fox. 1665gm. H.290mm.
