inlaid silver gilt and copper depicting a bird in flight before a full moon, a cockerel perched upon a blossom branch to the other side, scrolling cloud form handles, the domed lid further decorated and with drum finial, raised on three tall legs, engraved maker's mark to base. H.168mm.
