Provenance: Charlie Watkinson (born c.1860) who had a double ended hunting punt 'The Gladson' on the Waikato at Mercer (before the bridge was built) with a central Lister engine driving screws at either end, she was mounted with a swivel black powder punt gun that Charlie used to self load with shrapnel and shoot flocks on the water.
