cut walled bottle vase, Height 180. With accompanying book. A.B.: "The Janet Leach pot, I bought in 1967, when my father and I visited the Leach Pottery. Bernard offered me an apprenticeship of five years, but my 20 year old self thought the work was too clunky for me to make, all that time, with my Scandinavian sense of design. I did not dare to own this up, when I came back to New Zealand in late 1969, for fear of being boycotted."
