A matchless offering from estate collections and clients moving abroad; the day session including Victorian kitchen copperwares, treen, a mineral specimen collection, taxidermy trophy antlers, vintage duck decoys, wool-work and embroidery, numismatic and postal collections, the Redmond Estate Collection of perfume bottles (part II), artefacts including tiki, tabua and tapa; NZ and international studio pottery: Len Castle, Blumhardt, Bernard Leach, smisek, et al; Crown Lynn hand-potted and Wharetana wares; collection of Malay/indonesian bladed weapons including six kris, klewangs and others; 17 English and German 19th/20th Century officer's swords, medal group including Military MBE. China and porcelain including a good offering of Royal Doulton and Royal Worcester, Lladro, Lenci, Moorcroft and Belleek. Superior oriental arts include an exceptional Japanese figurative carving by Mitsukazu; striking Chinese porcelains: a Republic period Qianlong museum copy vase, famille rose and famille noir, blue & white, celadons, etc.; carved ivory tusk sections, a natural rhinoceros horn, netsuke, cloisonne, zitan carvings, scrolls, bronzes, etc.

The evening session starts with jewellery including diamond rings, gold chains, amber necklaces, mourning jewellery, Edwardian pendants, greenstone drops, coral earrings, gemstone set bracelets, muff chains, etc., followed by a good selection of wristwatches and pocket watches including Vacheron Constantin, Longines, Bucherer, Omega and others. The silver section includes a good presentation of Georgian and continental flatware, a James I seal top spoon, candlesticks, creamers, tea services, coffee pots, sauce boats, baskets, vesta, vinaigrettes, sovereign cases, a selection of Old Sheffield Plate, etc. Another broad range of Persian and Afghan hand-knotted carpets, rugs and runners to suit all interiors and a selection of furniture including wing-back and club chairs, dining furniture, bergeres, chests of drawers, apprentice chest, trunks and occasional tables. The fine art section ending the evening presents the balance of an estate collection of oils by Emerson Porter, 5 works by Minnie White, 3 by Stanley Palmer; a Peter Mcintyre oil of children swimming, emoting of endless summer days. Finally large colonial oils by Pruden and a small watercolour by L.W. Wilson, other works by Welch, Higgs, Trevor Lloyd and others, as well as a selection paintings by international artists.
