For our special Christmas auction we are excited to be able to offer the estate collection of Captain Percy James Green who as a merchant sea captain plying the Yangtze River from the mid-1920s to 1943 amassing a fine collection of Chinese ivory, ceramics, bronzes and black wood furniture. Cordys is privileged to be able to offer these exceptional pieces on behalf of the family. Together with a fine array of specially selected items from other estates and private collections, including taxidermy, interesting miscellaneous, N.Z. pottery and artefacts, china and porcelain, Oriental pieces, fine jewellery including an exceptional 31ct. diamond neck- lace, carriage clock collection, silver, Persian rugs, Georgian, Victorian, colonial, contemporary furniture and decorator items together with a good selection of fine art.
