From the estate of a woman based in the Pacific Islands c1950-1970 who completed her Master’s thesis on Tongan tapa, we have an eclectic array of tapa, fine mats, Tongan head rests, a Maori model Whare used for educational purposes c.1970 at the Teachers Training College, Auckland, Pacific shells, etc., together with items from many estates and private vendors; including a letter written by Charles Upham, double Victoria Cross winner, exotic butterflies, woodworking tools, quality N.Z. and international stamp collection, glass, artefacts, N.Z. pottery, militaria, Moorcroft, Doulton, Worcester, a good Oriental section, Japanese and Chinese items, a fine jewellery selection including a 6.72cts. diamond bracelet, a pair of 3.22cts. diamond earrings, 23cts.
