in our June mid-year sale we are offering further collectables from the Bryan Jackson estate including old NZ bank notes, sovereigns, postcards, tools, toys etc. We follow with our usual exciting offering of; taxidermy, ivory, kauri gum, Maori and Pacic artefacts. We are absolutely thrilled to have Peter Snell's 1964 Tokyo Olympics singlet along with a fine selection of NZ pottery and glass. More interesting items include militaria, Lalique, Charlotte Rhead, Hannah Barlow vases, Moorcroft, Chinese and Japanese ivory and jade, collections of Chinese silver, porcelains, rosewood, etc.

The second session opens with the jewellery which includes sovereigns and half sovereigns, rare enamel hatpin, gold thimbles, amber necklaces, substantial diamond rings, brooches and bangles, fine emerald pieces as well as a superb offering of clocks and watches. The silver includes a strong offering of flatware, tea and coffee sets, a 1.47kg silver trophy cup, creamers, bowls, etc. We have our traditional fine rugs and runners followed by Georgian, Victorian, French, Chinese and NZ furniture including a rare John Crichton table, a set of Chippendale dining chairs, sideboards, dining tables, Philippe Stark "Olly Tango" chair.

The ART section includes works by renowned indian artists Jamini Roy and Mookherjea plus works by Airini Vane, Randall Froude, John Crichton, J.D. Perrett, Attwood and Lance O'Gorman plus so much more. Another Cordy’s "not to be missed" auction.
