Special Antique, Art & Firearm Auction

Auction Details

Cordys is privileged to offer this stand-alone single vendor auction. A unique collection representing speciic areas of collecting interest.

the Medal collection shows a strong New Zealand focus, including a unique assembly of WWI medals awarded to Maori recipients. The furniture includes Georgian mahogany and oak, with many fine quality examples carefully gathered over a long period, a theme that runs through this auction.

the Art collection includes many rare historical new Zealand examples that again represent a lifetime of careful collecting with a trained eye. A period of travel and residence in Australia resulted in the acquisition of multiple works by three artists that our vendor encouraged and supported.
