Welcome to the Cordys Christmas Antique & Art Auction. From numerous estates and private vendors we offer; taxidermy, boxes, miniatures, bronzes, kauri gum and pounamu boulders, Pacific, tribal and N.Z. pieces, fine Garry Nash glass, N.Z. pottery, Richard Shields carvings, Modern Movement and English china. A large oriental section includes jades, ivories, ceramics, a multi-generational N.Z. family collection of Chinese items, as well as amber necklaces and bracelets.

Antique, collectable and contemporary jewellery starts the second session and includes one to two carat diamond rings, gold coin bracelets, chains, jade pendants and more. We have our usual exciting selection of clocks and watches which includes a special gold patek Philippe and six Omega wristwatches. We have Georgian, Victorian & 20thC silver, hand knotted rugs and runners from Iran, Afghanistan and Turkey. The outstanding furniture & decorator section includes Georgian, Victorian, colonial and later tables, chairs, chests, coffers, desks and sideboards, complimented with an exceptional 19thC French bookcase and other fine entries from an exclusive Auckland residence. Quality lamps, mirrors, longcase clocks and chandeliers are included.

The Fine Art section showcases works by Dean Buchanan, Terry Stringer, L.W. Wilson, Rev. John Kinder, Louise Henderson plus many more. We have that hard to find present this auction which must be viewed.
