Mid-year brings a trove of estate and private vendor items. 10am begins with an eclectic range of taxidermy, decoy ducks, fur coats, walking sticks, signs, kauri gum and greenstone, an estate stamp section of 12 N.Z. albums, maps, Maori and Pacific artefacts include a stunning pekapeka, wooden bailer and a pair of lge. carved kauri gum Maori heads. N.Z. studio pottery and glass. collection of Murano wine goblets, Lalique, Waterford, etc., Modern Movement, china and porcelain sections include Ruskin, Clarice Cliff, 22 lots of Moorcroft, Lladro, Worcester, etc. the large oriental section, includes ivory, jade, bronzes, ceramics, chinese silver and lge. Tibetan thangka.

The second session opens at 5.00 p.m. with jewellery; gold chains, bracelets, earrings, pearls, diamond, ruby, sapphire & emerald rings, brooches and pendants, amber and jade, a rare 1935 Waitangi crown coin, watches and clocks include a diamond and gold Girard Perregaux, Philippe Patek, Omega and Breitling, five carriage clocks etc.

Silver section includes a rare miniature mull, brandy warmers, candelabra, impressive Mercer's co. Victorian commemorative silver chalice, Versace silver-plate cutlery. Persian rugs include two outstanding antique examples. French, Chinese, Japanese and European furniture together with N.Z. & English; tables, chests, desks, dining chairs, sideboards, bookcases, chandeliers, mirrors, etc. The Fine Art offering includes; dean Buchanan, L.W.Wilson lge. oil, Greg O'Brien, George Chance, Bessie Christie and a vibrant painting of Galahs by Lawrence Starkey and much more
