the stylised open worked sinuous figure with hands clasped to abdomen, its tail connected to the elbow, good dark green colourway, raised on a carved marble base with connecting portrait masks and whale and dolphin images. Height 185. Note: Gwaliasi is a well known sculptor, jeweller and educator who has taught at the Tai Poutini Polytechnic, Greymouth and elsewhere. Named to the base. $650
