'Learning to Sail', interior scene, watercolour, signed. Note: Born in London into an artistic family. He studied at the Royal Institute School and joined the growing colony of artist in New Lynn in the late 1880s. He is best known for painting local fishermen and figures, capturing the character of his sitters in detail. 430 x 660.
