includes the New Zealand Volunteer Service Medal, '12 Years Service', engraved to 'THE REV.D JAMES H. MACKENZIE, HON.Y CHAPLAIN NELSON RIFLE VOLS. (1904)' together with The Colonial Auxiliary Forces Long Service Medal, ornately decorated, at the top is the Royal Crown and below this are the words "FOR LONG SERVICE IN THE COLONIAL AUXILIARY FORCES", awarded to 'REV. J.H. MACKENZIE. CHAPLAIN 2ND CL. N.Z. CHAPLAIN'S DEPT. (1913)'.
