designed by Christian Fjerdingstad for Orfèvrerie Christofle Paris, 1930, this set being a later Christofle production. Comprising a teapot, creamers and covered sugar basin, all with striking circular bodies, on a matching twin-handled tray, each with stylised ebonised wood handles and finials. Impressed Christofle marks. Tray length 500mm. Provenance: Purchased from The Studio of Table Ware, Auckland, some years ago.
