Note: The late Harry Goodwin (passed away c.2012) created a large collection of artworks; humorous, political and abstract in style, all with his very distinctive heavy brush strokes and bright colours. Originally hailing from Thames, Harry Goodwin, artist, poet and bookseller, lived for many years on Waiheke Island. PLEASE NOTE: THIS PAINTING WAS WRONGLY ATTRIBUTED TO THE AUSTRALIAN ARTIST HARRY GOODWIN (1842-1926). THE CORRECT ARTIST – HARRY GOODWIN, WAS A NEW ZEALANDER BASED ON WAIHEKE ISLAND. HE PASSED AWAY IN 2012.
