Note: Gangaur is an important Rajasthani festival. It celebrates spring, marital fidelity and childbearing. Gana is a synonym for Lord Shiva and Gaur which stands for Gauri or Parvati who symbolizes marital bliss. Unmarried women pray to her for a good husband and married women for the health and long life of their husbands and a happy married life.
