in walnut case opening to reveal the internal lid with chromolithograph of musical cherubs, the 8 inch disc secured upon a revolving multi-arm drum and comb with gilt plate detailed 'POLYPHON', the movement below operated by a lever arm to the front. With later box housing 20 further original discs. Apparently working. 265 x 245 x 180mm.
