0243 # Dilana machine knotted runner, designed by Michael Reed 'Nikau Runner Doing the Heaphy', 1997, 3/20 signed and titled on reverse. 850 x 3600mm.Note: Born 1950 Reed studied at Ilam, gaining an MA in printmaking, his career developed subsequently in printmaking, mixed media and textile design as well as tutoring at Christchurch Polytechnic. He continues to design for Dilana Rugs. Provenance: The collection of John and Valerie Robertson, Auckland.
