the whole copiously inlaid with floral decoration with shaped moulded cornice with foliate carved cresting piece above glazed paneled doors and chamfered sides. The base of bombé shape with two small drawers over two of full width with brass handles and escutcheons. Raised on bun feet. W.1450mm, H.2400mm. (crack to one glass side panel). Provenance: The collection of John and Valerie Robertson, Auckland. Purchased Webb's Auctions, December 1998. Noted as 'Originally from a doctor who has owned it for 25 years in Palmerston North'. $17,000
