Lot Details

the named movement made in Hobart Town by David Barclay with decorative engraved and scroll pierced back plate. The Regency ebonised bronze case enclosing the circular enamelled dial supported above the stepped plinth base. H.180mm. Apparently running. Note: Barclay (1804-1884) arrived in Hobart from Scotland onboard the ship Resource in 1830.
