with crossed British and American flags flanking the circular cartouche, the panel below engraved 'Auckland N.Z.', stamped' silver' to reverse, original ribbon attached. W.27mm. Note: on the 9th August 1908 the U.S. 'Great White Fleet' arrived in Auckland, the 16 American battleships were received 'with much pomp and ceremony'.
