by George Yonge (1776-1832), both cases matching hallmarks for London 1808, white enamel dial with Roman numerals, subs-seconds (hand absent), gold hands; gilded fusee movement with removable gilt brass dust cap. Both movement and dust cap signed George Yonge, Strand, London and numbered 6408. Yonge was Clockmaker to the Admiralty 1820-28. Dia.52mm.
