'Rhythm' (Waikato Landscape), oil on hardboard, signed and dated 1978, entitled and variously labelled on reverse. 308 x 755mm. Note: Philips was a refugee from Nazi Germany who moved to N.Z. in 1938 settling in Hamilton. She began to paint when she was over 50 years of age being tutored by Geoff Fairburn and Colin McCahon.
