for the father, William G. Yeates from WWI, a farrier for the Auckland, Mounted Rifles, includes: 1917 diary, a notebook of horse records etc., personal photos, badges and other items. For the son Mervyn W Yeates 2/Lt. (temp. Lt.): A medal group of standard pair together 1939 - 1945 Star and Italy Star, certificates and paper work including a card for 'having been Mentioned in a Despatch(sic) for distinguished service', school reports etc., various photos includes: Trentham Camp 1940-41, Waiouru Army Camp 1941, Maadi, booklets: 'Finito!', 'One More River' etc.
