formed of riveted rings of oval-section wire, open at the front, a pair of long arms, flared skirt extending to above the knee, the back, front and sides fitted with numerous rectangular lamellar plates arranged in vertical panels over the torso (losses, extensively at the front) and those at the front including two with brass arms for closure (repairs).
