Birmingham proofs. Captive ramrod in channel under barrel iron frame scroll engraved. Finely chequered bag grip in good condition with blank oval German silver escutcheon at wrist. Hammer snapped off and nipple broken. 4 3/4" barrel of approx. 50 calibre. Uncleaned dark patina overall. Provenance: From the collection of John & Lynda Matthews (Ōmata Stockade in Taranaki.
