1½: turn-off barrel rifled with eight heavy grooves progressively deeper towards muzzle. .49 calibre, Birmingham proved. Folding trigger in iron frame with ‘Bond Cornhill’ and ‘London’ engraved in ovals with stand of arms each side of body. Sliding safety with decorative houndstooth on bar and top tang. Original burr-walnut slab-side bag grip in sound uncleaned condition with unmarked silver shield escutcheon at wrist. All ironwork with dark uncleaned patina.
