Interior scene, Cavalier with musket and lute, oil on canvas, signed. 800 x 985mm. Note: de Andreis is primarily famous for his costume scenes following the tradition of the 17th and 18th centuries. He created genre scenes with elegantly dressed men and members of the army, presented in pubs or in palatial interiors. He is well known for his painting of cavaliers admiring their new acquisitions.
