rectangular tapered form, each with two panelled doors, classically carved in relief with florals and scrolls, opening to reveal a plain interior, the sides with conforming carved decoration, bracket apron plinth to the base, blackened decorative pierced metal tab form handles. 275 x 65 x 355. Note: The grain of these cabinets is very consistent with huanghuali, and this pair are probably of that wood. Provenance: From a local Auckland vendor who has owned these cabinets for at least 20 years.
