oval boat shape with serpentine rim and acanthus capped scroll handle joined by a shell union, raised on three leaf scroll feet. Maker's mark indistinct, possibly that of Thos. Beere (Jackson's 3rd edt., page 202, line 6). Engraved with script monogram: WBMBW to the side, and engraved initials under: B over W*M. 369gm (13oz). L.215mm (8½")
