Note: Te Puea CBE was recognised as a remarkable leader whose achievements communicated across cultures, and she was hailed as 'the greatest Māori woman of our time'. Provenance: Private collection Auckland for the last 25 years. Purchased privately in Christchurch from the family of the first purchaser.
