with stylised figure carved to the lid and radiating kowhaiwhai patterns to the sides matching to the figures forehead, c.1980's. L.225mm. Provenance: Ex. the collection of the Buried Village Rotorua. Established in 1931 by our vendor's grandparents, remains in family ownership.
