PNG, from Manus Island, with handle of wood covered by putty nut gum coloured with ochre and with impressed pattern. H.340mm. With stand. Provenance: Chris Boylan Oceanic Art Collection ‘Parcours Des Monde catalogue, Paris, 2023’; Malcolm Davidson, ArtOceanic Gallery, Melbourne; collected Thomas Barrett collected c.1930s. The Jorgen Lotz Collection.
