the artistic interpretation including a scroll with sail form above. Incised carvers monogram to the base. H.150mm. An email from Donn sates: 'Carved from beautiful 'kawakawa' pounamu, NZ nephrite jade recovered from the the Taramakau River gold tailings...'. 'This design is an exploration of organic form stimulated by Māori origins. The 'koru' signifies life, and regeneration, and the unfurling leaf form indicates growth.'
