satinwood marquetry inlay, mother-of-pearl mounted keys and stops, brass fittings, working order. The base named 'R.M. Blaney Truro' and inscribed' Bo't at Sydney N.S.W. Sept. 13 1847 being the day of his father's decease', (a surgeon who died in 1847 in Cornwall). L.400mm, in mahogany sarcophagus form decorative cabinet with inlaid top and spiral column corners, the front fold-down door with two arched panels enclosing gilded family crests. L.510mm.
