with Tisdall's nickel silver plate on back of reel; large alloy foot; back plate rim spool release handle for casting and brass thumb brake on face plate. Original line. Handels are ivory. Early repair/removal of handle from face plate. A well used reel on South Is salmon and large Taupo trout. c.1922.
