Lot Details
Ilene Rosa Stichbury ( 1898 - 1991) Scene with Gaff Riggers and Kauri Log Pen; oil on canvas; unsigned; c.1926-36. 395 x 600mm . This work and a number of the following were auctioned at Webb's in March 1990 to raise funds for the Auckland City Art Gallery (the Ilene and Lawrence Dakin bequest). The artist trained under Frank and Walter Wright whose works they closely resemble in colour; style and subject.
