Painted worked and woven fibre highlights. The fabric back signed and dated 6/79. H.870mm approx. In 1961 he won the inaugural Golden Shears Awards with a gown that he called 'Golden Peacock'. In later years he retired from textiles to focus on creating richly-detailed work with clay.
