n.b an edition of this lithograph is in the collection of the Tate. From a series known as 'The School Prints' published in the 1940s are now recognised as a high water mark of the post-war artistic exuberance and optimism. Original hand-drawn colour lithographs printed by the specialist lithographic printers - The Baynard Press. Artists who feature in the series include Pablo Picasso/Henry Moore/Henri Matisse/Raoul Dufy/L.S. Lowry/Fernand Leger.
