described in the original brochure as ‘... adapted to a floating bowl. At the Tau Ihu (prow) the conventional figure is seen in a posture of defiance. There is no decoration on the canoe body, but at the Tau Rapa (Stern post) is the traditional carved panel with usual spiral and manaia combination...'. L.330mm. Note: this piece is not numbered. The stern post repaired.
