Lot Details

, KILWELL braided line made in Britain. Still has the original cellophane wrapping. The ALLCOCK GLIDER waterproof silk line for salmon, trout and grayling (Note : lines can be restored to their original condition, circa 1920) 2 boxes of special green loop casts made from selected Spanish gut. Made expressly for the New Zealand market by S Allcock & Co Ltd Redditch England. ALLCOCKS 3 3/4 AERIAL POPULAR twin ivorine handles, caged drum and drag button on rear plate. Smooth brass foot, Line guide added by Alan so that the reel could be used for harling on the lakes. Just about all the original finish has worn away, circa 1940.
