Provenance: Made by John Borrows, an Auckland engineer who was the brains behind Fisher & Paykel's revolutionary SmartDrive washing machine. He helped to build cheap and durable ‘Life Pod’ incubators. In Mr Borrows’ spare time he was a model maker.
