56mm case, with inner 18ct gold dust cover engraved with presentation inscription 1892, hallmarked Chester 1892 by Rotherham & Sons (John Rotherham), case manufacturers, Spon Street, Coventry. Engraved monogram to back JLJ. ¾ plate keyless movement with lever escapement, hacking slide to stop and start centre seconds at III on band. White enamel dial with sunken centre; chapter ring with Roman numerals, rail track minutes and 300 outer indices. Gold hands, blued centre seconds. 169gm
