49mm engine-turned case hallmarked London 1848 by George Hammon. Movement and dial signed 'Baumgart, 6 Maddox St. Regent St. London and numbered 3258. Key wound jewelled movement, unusual ¾ plate calibre with going barrel, split compensated balance wheel, duplex escapement. White enamel Roman dial, rail track minutes, sunken subsidiary seconds dial at XII. Blued steel hands. 86gm
