striking pale/dark blue glaze highlights to the shoulder, coal fired salt glaze giving rich dark golden brown tones to the lower body, strap handle, incised potter's mark to rim, incised pottery details to base and date 2017. Height 310. Note: Ian Dalzell first met Barry Brickell in 1986 as a young man and formed an enduring friendship with him. In 2013 Dalzell was based at the Driving Creek Pottery assisting with the firings and pottery making until Barry's passing in 2016. $500
