of slightly tapering oval section; the hinged lid inset with a miniature pâte-sur-pâte Grecian maiden under domed glass within a gold frame. The interior with a miniature glass ink bottle and two-section gold dip pen. Under the base set with an intaglio agate seal of the muse Urania within a gold frame conforming to the lid.
