Provenance: Purchased by Denis and Joy Hanna from the 1957 Auckland City Art Gallery exhibition, 'British Fine Crafts'. Catalogue number 201. The original catalogue notes 'The Crafts Centre of Great Britain was invited by the Auckland Art Gallery to prepare an exhibition of its members work for New Zealand. This is the exhibition'.
