painted in the round to the spherical body with peaches, blackberries, cherries and leaves on a mossy green ground, signed by the artist, lion headed scrolling handles, elaborate gold enrichments, the lid with leaf scroll and spire finial. Printed mark to base and shape # 1691. H.360mm. Provenance: Ex. the estate of our vendor's parents who had a long history of China business ownership in England and founded the Hereford Fine China N.Z. business bringing Rick Lewis out to N.Z. This spectacular vase sold with its original packing box used for its transportation to N.Z.
