26mm stainless steel case with white gold fluted bezel, ref. 79174, ser. no. Y841866, black dial with diamond set indexes, on stainless jubilee link bracelet with additional links. With original red leather box, outer box, guarantee dated 2004, booklets and retailer's swing tag. Apparently working. Provenance: Private Auckland estate collection. The classic Datejust watch enhanced with factory set round brilliant cut diamonds as hour markers on the less common, but more outstanding black dial. CONDITION REPORT: Purchased Mansor's Jewellers 1/15/04. Original retailer's Rolex swing tag attached with price $10,510 one side and barcode/serial numbers other side that match watch/documents. Watch and Bracelet: Small wear marks to case and bracelet, not repolished. Quick set date operates, hands set operates, sweep seconds operates, mechanism running but may require a clean/overhaul for continuous operation. Lots of dirt accumulated in crevices and needs general clean. Bracelet clasp operates well. Box: outer cardboard tidy, corner bumps, slight yellowing patches inside lid. Presentation box red leather very good condition, interior excellent, booklets as new.
